Rainbows

Haven't you ever wondered where rainbows come from?

The Bible only tells us that God put a rainbow in the sky to remind us that He'll never flood the earth again like He did in Noah's day

but how are rainbows made????

I think I may have a theory
my husband of course!

but then you ask .... if you have discovered where rainbows have come from shouldn't you have also done the extra research to find out where the other end goes??

oh yes I have ...
this lucky fellow would be Caleb

but this is just my theory ... I could be wrong, but I don't think so :)

well this is her last month to month update ... her next one will be December when my little baby turns 2 :(

So ... what have we been up to?

swim lessons {remember this face, back in the beginning of May?}

{she loves it ... she doesn't even look back at us after she gets in the water geez, want me to leave? :) }

we've been spending a lot of time outdoors, in the jacuzzi just enjoying the nice weather

pregnancy update
I am 37 weeks pregnant and ready to go! Come on out little girl!
every tuesday and thursday, I walk our big hill to take Clover to and from swim lessons, that's got to encourage labor right???
lets hope so

A Beautiful Blessing

Brian tells me I need to pray more for things

because when I do they get answered
{although that's not completely true because I keep praying for a way for us to stay in California and afford a house here by my family}

Over a year ago I was telling Brian that I wished we had a friend or family member that just wanted to follow us around and take pictures of us {some families seem like they constantly have the paparazzi following them!} and then the next weekend our friend/photographer Jason Dolbier asked to photograph us and took these awesome pictures.....
I was also recently thinking, I would really like to build up a library for Clover
and my mom's friend brought over a whole box of books!
with a new baby on the way, I was looking at double strollers and realizing how expensive they are and fighting between wanting a nice one and the cost of it
when some dear friends had a family member GIVE them a free double jogging stroller, and they gave it to us!

also with this new pregnancy, I wished I had someone who wanted to take some fun maternity and family pictures of us just for fun
then the talented EK Photographer, Lizzie asked us if she could do just that!






I thought the offer of taking our pictures was the blessing
but the true blessing came from hanging out with Lizzie for the morning
She is a believer in Christ who is battling a form of cancer and her testimony is beautiful
she is full of fun and laughter in the midst of her trial and she is constantly give praise and thanks to our Lord

we left that day with amazing pictures and feeling encouraged by the conversations we had
